The Indian Air Force’s ‘Wings Over Ganges’ aerial display is underway at Namo Ghat in Varanasi. For the first time, six frontline fighter jets — Su-30MKI, Rafale, Jaguar, Mirage 2000, Tejas and MiG-29 — are flying in a single arrowhead formation. The showcase also features the Sarang helicopter display team and the Suryakiran aerobatic team. The ‘Prachand’ display highlights India’s combat capabilities, with aircraft carrying munitions used during Operation Sindoor. The aerial showcases are scheduled for October 22, 24 and 25.

VIDEO | Varanasi: Squadron Leader Bhavesh Sharma, on IAF's 'Wings Over Ganga' air show to be held on October 25, says, "... My role today will be on the ground, keeping an eye on flight safety of the aircraft in the air, which is the most important thing whenever, we fly, and not just for Suryakiran, but whenever any Indian Air Force aircraft flies, flight safety remains the most important thing for us. As far as this air show is concerned, this air show is a medium to motivate all the people of the country, and especially to motivate the country's youth, to become part of the Indian Air Force, and not just the Indian Air Force but the Indian Armed Forces."
