Mechanised parking facility to ease traffic jam in city
The Varanasi Municipal Corporation is accelerating development works to promote tourism and streamline traffic management in the city. A mechanised multilevel car parking facility is being built at a cost of Rs 9.84 crore to ease congestion in the Assi Ghat and Bhadaini areas, while a modern food plaza is being developed at a cost of Rs 2.14 crore to provide better amenities to tourists.
